For the launch of the My Place program, a unique ballot process was used for all projects. 

For future My Place releases, some projects will continue to use the ballot process, however most projects will be use the new priority process. The same eligibility criteria apply to both processes.

The priority process will ensure households hoping to buy house and land packages through My Place, in projects where the number of eligible households are similar to the number of available packages, are processed on a first in first served basis.

The ballot process will continue to be used in projects where the demand for house and land packages in the My Place program is significantly higher than the number that will be available. In any project where this starts to occur, the ballot process will be utilised. For upcoming releases only Bushlark Grove in Moranbah will be using the ballot process.

Buyers may also be eligible for government grants such as the $10,000 Queensland Government Building Boost and the $7,000 First Home Owners Grant.
