The priority process

To buy a My Place house and Land package through the priority process there are a number of steps you need to take:

  1. Register your interest
  2. Notification of upcoming My Place release
  3. My Place release
  4. Intention to nominate
  5. Completing your nomination and entering a contract

1. Register your interest

To stay informed and be notified about the current and future My Place releases please register your interest.

2. Notification of upcoming My Place release

A notification of an upcoming My Place release will be sent to everyone who has registered their interest for the participating project, up to 7-days before the planned release start date.

Once the notification of an upcoming My Place release is issued, interested parties have up to 7-days to enquire about what house and land packages will be available. It is recommended interested parties contact EDQ Project Sales Professional to access information about all packages that will be available in the My Place release.

3. My Place release

The My Place release period will commence on the published release start and end dates.

4. Intention to nominate

From the starting date of the My Place release interested parties must contact the relevant EDQ Project Sales Professional to advise them of their intention to nominate. Individuals will be registered in the order in which they advise of their intention to nominate. You must be eligible for the My Place program to advise you intend to nominate.

EDQ Project Sales Professional, in consultation with the builder, will liaise with everyone who has advised an intention to nominate, in the order in which their intention to nominate was documented, to discuss the available house and land packages in the My Place program.

5. Completing your nomination and entering a contract

To secure a home through the My Place release you will need to complete your nomination before the 28-day release period ends and enter into a contract, subject to finance. To  complete nomination you will need to supply a signed and witnessed statutory declaration by all adult members of the household that states:

  • The intention to live in the My Place dwelling for 12-months on completion
  • Household income

Supporting documentation will also need to be supplied:

  • Registration form that indicate the names to be included on the purchase contracts
  • Finance pre-approval from a recognised lender
  • Proof of age

Any house and land packages in the My Place program that have not been contracted at the end of the 28-day release period will become available to the open market.

People who have advised their intention to nominate, but missed out on the release, will carry over to future My Place releases
